I have been doing autostop with my two friends for two weeks and it’s been my favororite country to for autostop so far. The people have been so kind, and we felt safer than in Italy. So 100% recommend
Posted: March 18, 2024Montenegro is the most beautiful, breathtaking country I have visited. There were mountains, forests, beaches, history, and delicious food, the people were so friendly, and I felt safest there.
Posted: October 22, 2023Montenegro is absolutely beautiful and quite affordable. People were really nice, and I consider this place to be great and safe for solo travels as a girl.
Posted: October 1, 2023Montenegro is stunning and still even more wild. There are no crowds (even in the most popular city, Kotor, it is manageable). Hotels, restaurants and tours are really affordable, much cheaper than in Croatia. The coastline is mainly rocky, but the water is beautiful. Amazing views, safety and incredible food. However, in terms of nightlife, I felt disappointed.
Posted: August 29, 2023I have been to Montenegro several times, it's very safe there, and the locals are very helpful. I liked Kotor, Perast and Tivat. I didn't enjoy Budva and Bar (a bit dirty and too touristy). Also, Podgorica is nothing special, the seaside towns are much prettier.
Posted: July 29, 2023Montenegro is absolutely safe. Everyone is very nice. I sailed a boat and got off every evening when we moored. I had the most fun in this bar in Herceg Novi, where everyone sits on the wall. Many local people. Everyone speaks English.

Posted: September 25, 2022Travel plan: 2 days on Lake Skadar + Godinje 2 days in Budva 2 days in Kotor Safety: 100% safe Recommendations: Montenegro is one of the most underrated countries I have visited.

Montenegro stole my heart and I didn't want to leave. I spent 3 days, splitting time between Budva, Kotor, and Perast. Budva wins everything. It was breathtaking and I enjoyed every moment spent there. Kotor was fine, and Perast was also great and peaceful.
Posted: January 19, 2024Kotor was absolutely my favorite place, it literally swept me off my feet. I visited Zagreb, Split, Herceg Novi (it wasn't my favorite place, very beautiful, but not much to do), Kotor and Budva - I regret not skipping Budva and spending more time in Kotor, because I liked it so much there.

You can always find me in between working and travelling. I have 10+ years of working experience in communication area. Travelled to 20+ countries and besides Montenegro (my home country) I have lived in the US as an exchange student (Minnesota) and finished my Master studies in the UK. Not into chit chat, but very much into talking. Can always recommend movies and music, as well as listen and give advice.
